a while ago, after i said that using google's blogging service would be the next best option after 7 years of searching for a decent web host, i kinda knew i was wrong.

i secured lehomme.net a while ago, for the use of my friends and i, with a web host at godaddy. i've moved to http://uber.lehomme.net. if you are my good friend, and require a non-masked subdomain fowarding, let me know. if you are a stranger and you'd like a masked subdomain forwarding, let me know too (with a small-small-small fee).

and i'll be ditching this site. please update your links guys, if you already haven't. =p

by the way, 'le homme' means 'the man' in french. no, not a french wanna be, but all the nice domain names have already been snapped up. happy holidays!

Legs and Slippers

A patient met with an accident, and was admitted to a hospital. As his legs have been badly injured during the accident, an emergency amputation of both legs had to be carried out.

The patient wakes up after the operation ...

Man: Doctor! How did the operation go?
Doctor: Oooh, I have good news, and bad news for you Sir.
Man: What is it doctor? Please tell me!
Doctor: The bad news is, due to the injury sustained on your legs, we had to amputate both of them off.
Doctor: The good news is, the man at the bed beside you wants to buy your slippers.

The Clinic Nurse

A patient was having cough, and decided to visit the clinic to see the doctor, but the doctor wasn't around during lunch time.

Nurse: Oh hello! Can I help you?
Man: Oh yes please, I'm having a bad case of cough these days.
Nurse: I see, but the doctor isn't around. Can I get you some medication instead?
Man: Please do! Anything to stop it!

The nurse went to the dispenser, and began looking for the cough syrup. She soon realised that the clinic was out of it, so she fetched some laxatives instead.

Nurse: Here's it, take it 3 times daily, after meals. And drink plenty of water please!
Man: Thank you very much! Hope it works!

Soon, the doctor returns from his lunch break ...

Doctor: Hi Amy, anybody visited the clinic just now?
Nurse: Oh yes, a patient came with a cough, because the clinic ran out of cough syrups, I got his laxatives instead.
Doctor: You idiot! How could you do that?
Nurse: Oh yes I can. He wouldn't dare to cough now ...

The Scientist and the Frog

There was a scientist, who wanted to test the relationship between the distance a frog can leap, to the number of legs it has.

In the first experiment, the scientist placed the frog on the table, and said, "Frog, jump frog! Frog, jump frog!" And the frog jumped 4 feet. The scientist recorded down his observation in his manual, "Frog with 4 legs, jump 4 feet. "

In the second experiment, the scientist again placed the frog on the table, snipped 2 of its legs off, leaving it with only 2 legs. "Frog, jump frog! Frog, jump frog!" And the frog jumped 2 feet. The scientist recorded down his observation in his manual, "Frog with 2 legs, jump 2 feet. "

In the third (and last experiment,) the scientist again placed the frog on the table, and snipped off his last 2 legs, leaving it legless. "Frog, jump frog! Frog, jump frog! ... " The scientist talked the frog to jumping for 2 hours, but the frog did not jump! The scientist recorded down in his manual, "Frog with no legs, are deaf. "
